HOW MUCH IS IT TO APPLY?

The application fees include the following:

- $500 deposit
- $200 administration fee
- $65/per adult occupant

**

HOW DO I APPLY WHEN I'M READY?

**There are several super easy options for applying:**

- You can easily [apply online](https://www.authentixapartments.com/apartments/mi/kalamazoo/authentix-kalamazoo/floor-plans) 
    - Our quotes expire after 24 hours, so if you need to generate a new quote please select the floor plans tab on our website and select an available apartment home along with move in date and lease term to create a new custom quote.
- You’re welcome to visit our office to complete any paperwork
- You can also call and we’ll email a quote with a quick and easy link to the application

DO YOU HAVE GARAGES?

**Yes!** We do offer detached garages on-site for an additional fee per month that also include outlets for electric vehicles!

CAN I STILL MOVE IN IF I DON'T MEET THE MINIMUM 3X RENT INCOME REQUIREMENT?

**Of course!** If the income requirement is not met, we will ask you to provide a Guarantor. Qualified guarantors must be able to provide proof of income that is 6x the rent per month and pass the $60 background screening as well.

ARE YOU PET-FRIENDLY?

**Yes!** We allow two pets per home, with the exception of service animals, and do not have any weight restrictions. WHAT IF MY PREFERRED FLOOR PLAN ISN'T AVAILABLE, OR I WANT TO RESERVE AN APARTMENT FOR A FUTURE MOVE-IN DATE?

We offer a waitlist program for situations like these! If your preferred floor plan isn’t currently available or you’re planning ahead for a future move-in, you can join our waitlist. Our leasing team will be happy to share more details about the program during your tour.

## Answers for current residents

CAN I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER UNIT?

**Yes! **You may transfer with a 30-day notice and pay a transfer fee of 75% of one month's rent.

**

IF I DO NOT PLAN ON RENEWING MY LEASE, DO I STILL HAVE TO NOTIFY THE OFFICE?

**Yes! **If you are on a month-to-month lease, we will need a 30-day notice prior to vacating, however, if you are fulfilling a longer lease, we require a 60-day notice prior to vacating.

WHY DOESN'T MY WATER BILL SHOW UP ON MY ACCOUNT?

Your water and sewer are billed 2 months in arrears. Once you receive your first water bill added to your rent statement you will then see it added every month.
